At Renewed Roots Counseling, I believe in the power of deep, transformative healing. As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC Associate) under the supervision of Shawna Lovin, LPC-S, I am committed to providing person-centered, trauma-informed care to individuals and families.

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2024, and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Human Services. Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked in special education as a Department Chair and Case Manager, which has fueled my passion for supporting individuals and families, particularly those from underserved communities.

I understand how overwhelming it can feel to face life’s challenges, especially when navigating emotional complexities or working through experiences such as ADHD, grief, or trauma. My approach is compassionate and flexible, allowing me to work with most clients who are looking for support in a variety of areas. I aim to meet you where you are, creating a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore your unique experiences and challenges.
